7K a year The Compensation Analyst researches, analyzes, and assists in the development and administration of the organization's compensation plans, policies, and programs to maintain a competitive position for the retention and recruitment of employees, to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, and to meet the financial parameters of the organization.
Reviews and reports on the value and effectiveness of compensation programs.
Participates in compensation surveys and stays current with compensation trends and legislative and regulatory issues.
Works closely with the departmental leadership to develop compensation strategy and recommendations for changes to the program as deemed appropriate to meet organizational objectives.
He or she approaches these responsibilities with the understanding that the compensation program and the Human Resources Department play a vital role in achieving the vision set forth for the organization.
The Compensation Analyst functions as a resource for all areas of the department as well as employees and managers of the organization.
This position requires travel to all Tanner Health System site locations.
Education Bachelor's Degree Experience Two years of related experience.
Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
Qualifications Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, efficiently and on time.
Ability to read and interpret surveys, documents, and contracts.
Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability in presentation preparation and public speaking.
Demonstrated knowledge of laws affecting the practice of Human Resources.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be accurate and thorough.
Must be diplomatic and tactful.
Must exhibit good professional ethics consistently.
Must present a professional image.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to not only understand the data but effectively translate data and information.
Thorough knowledge of mathematics and statistics used in compensation analysis.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
