The position requires someone who is energetic and demonstrates compassion and patience.

Required Certifications CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) preferred, but not required.
CPR and First Aid certificate required within 30 days of employment.
Applicant must be a licensed and insured driver in the state of Georgia.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and work effectively with a variety of personalities.
Fingerprints, drug test, clean background and MVR check will be required.
Must be 21 or older due to automobile insurance restrictions.
Primary Job Responsibilities Providing personal care and instrumental daily living assistance, which accounts for 90% of time spent in the role; Transportation in company vehicle and tasks in other settings such as social events and shopping are required Assist with bathing, hair care, shaving, oral care and other duties to ensure good hygiene Assist with weather appropriate clothing selection; ensure neat and tidy Meal preparation and feeding as necessary; cleanup Housekeeping and laundry; including (but not limited to) sweeping, mopping, dusting and cleaning bathrooms Assistance with walking and exercise Assistance with administration of medication as prescribed by physician and recording activity Driving residents to and from appointment, shopping and scheduled and unscheduled community activities Communicating timely and effectively with Housing Coordinator, Administrator, DDP, RN, staff and other Providers Complete accurate and detailed documentation required by company and Medicaid on a computer Conduct monthly fire and weather safety drills Manage allotted funds with respect to individuals' needs and resources Assist with meeting the goals of individuals and ensure that their quality of life is exceptional Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Job Types:
