This digital storyteller and communications business partner will play an integral role in the company's approach to internal communication and serve as a brand advocate for Southwire, internally and externally.
This individual will support the development, creation and planning of employee messaging and will work with a team to share Southwire's story across the organization.

Responsibilities:
Leverage app-based technology, hosted on the Firstup platform, to effectively engage, equip and inform team members Craft engaging and informative articles, video or podcast scripts, press releases and other forms of messaging to share company news with key internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the transition of Southwire's digital signage to a new technology platform Develop engaging, relevant content for Southwire's internal and external communications to support company messages and campaigns.
Communicate messages effectively through all channels to employees across the company.
Anticipate customer needs and synthesize requests to create communication plans and break down complex projects into manageable steps.
Serve as a partner to the business, proactively seeking out unique storytelling opportunities that align with business objectives, while also developing and executing communication campaign strategies for a variety of company projects and initiatives.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with People & Culture (HR) Business Partners, facility managers, senior and C-suite leaders and more.
Assist with coordination of corporate and community events/initiatives throughout the year.
Partner with other team members to complete video or graphic design projects as needed Receive and respond to feedback from a variety of sources.
Other communication-related duties as assigned (assisting other team members, participating in Giving Back initiatives, attending events, etc.
).
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in journalism (digital, print or broadcast), Mass or Digital Communications, Public Relations, English, Creative Writing, Marketing or related field.
At least three (3) years of proven, related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communications, with writing experience in a corporate setting required (knowledge of AP Style a plus).
Digital communication/social media experience a plus.
Experience with and deep understanding of change management communications best practices Consistent track record for taking ownership and organizing large scale projects.
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, graphic design/video editing software, content management systems, project management systems (Airtable, Monday.
com, SmartSheet, Base Camp, etc.
) to manage, develop and publish multimedia content across various platforms Must have excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work on multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
Must be detail-oriented and organized.
Must be skilled in the facilitation of team projects.
Strong customer service orientation preferred.
Working knowledge of Southwire's facilities, management, operations and strategy a plus.
Must be willing to travel to support the business as needed and attend quarterly team meetings/events/activities on-site.
Must be able to work in a remote work setting and adapt to changing schedules and environments.
